About The Position

This role leads the implementation process of a client’s products and services, working across cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgrade existing products. The Senior Product Manager participates in project planning and scheduling. The position involves owning the product roadmap, validating it with customers, and representing the product vision in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Engineering. Key responsibilities include involvement in major milestones, sprint reviews, and weekly demos. The role also entails leading customer-facing Early Adopter conversations, developing strategic launch plans, and helping junior product team members interpret success metrics. A deep understanding of nCino Product Knowledge is essential to lead customer conversations, explain value, vision, and roadmap, and handle objections. The role also involves leveraging AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, uncover unmet needs, and apply AI-powered analytics to validate assumptions and track adoption. Collaboration with engineering to integrate AI/ML features and staying informed on emerging technologies is also a key aspect.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of experience/proficiency or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executives
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies
  • Experience being involved in the sales cycle and conducting customer interviews
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
  • Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
  • Travel Requirements - <10%

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile principles
  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
  • Experience with loan origination software/technology

Responsibilities

  • Ideate - Own the roadmap
  • Identify next highest priority problems to solve
  • Validate the roadmap with customers
  • Take output from junior product team members' research to advance the planning
  • Plan - Represent the Product vision for your feature/feature set in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Eng
  • Build - Be involved in key milestones
  • Major stakeholder in sprint reviews and weekly demos
  • Launch - Lead customer-facing Early Adopter conversations
  • Develop strategic launch plan with cross-functional team
  • Grow - Help junior product team members' interpret success metrics, work with customer awareness
  • Lead conversations with customers in all segments about the value of your feature(s) in how they solve business problems as well as the vision and roadmap for the overall experience this feature connects to and how that will further add value to our customers
  • Handle objection handling through your deep knowledge of how other customers use the feature or have adjusted their business process to gain value
  • Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, and uncover unmet needs
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to validate product assumptions, track adoption, and surface opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add value to the customer experience
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and their potential application across the product lifecycle
