The Sr Product Manager role is responsible for driving the product strategy for Fortra’s Brand Protection services. The candidate will be critical in driving key product activities and a compelling and powerful roadmap. In this role, you will leverage company practices of product management and have an understanding of the cybersecurity market, our customers, and competition. Through our Core Values and Operating Principles you will collaborate with various key stakeholders to accomplish goals.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of product management and/or security operations leadership experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively and productively interface with customers
  • Must have experience with cross-functional teams that include engineering, product, sales and marketing staff
  • Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with executive management
  • BA/BS (degree in technical field preferred)
  • Proficient in common internet, web, and social technology and protocols - HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, registrars, web hosting.
  • Experience implementing anti-phishing and brand protection solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience programming with REST APIs.
  • Experience building and using AgenticAI workflows

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis Market Trend Analysis: Monitor the Brand Protection and Digital Risk Protection market for key trends and shifts in customer behaviors and expectations
  • Competitive Landscape: Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • Product Strategy Market Research: Conduct market interviews and surveys to identify unmet needs across various market segments
  • Technology Asset Assessment: Analyze technology assets to determine most effective path forward to deliver a complete solution (buy, build or partner)
  • Product Planning Use Scenarios: Define the most typical user of your product or service and translate identified market problems into user-friendly stories to guide solution development
  • Product Roadmaps: Define and manage product roadmaps
  • Requirements: Leverage product themes to package multiple features into distinct and compelling releases
  • Development Oversight: Drive product development toward on time and high-quality completion
  • Product Release & Launch Go to market strategy: Lead launch planning for new products and features to ensure cross functional alignment and visibility.
  • Channel Training: Train Sales and Partners on product use cases and capabilities
  • Subject Matter Expert Content Planning: Provide needed market and solution information to support Marketing, Sales and Technical Support
  • Other duties as assigned
