SUMMARY The Product Manager will own the full lifecycle of our degassing hardware products—from early‑stage ideation and customer discovery through development, launch, commercial growth, maturity management, and end‑of‑life planning. This role requires a strategic, commercially minded leader who can translate market needs and technical insights into a clear product roadmap that drives sustained, profitable growth. As the central point of accountability for product strategy, roadmap prioritization, pricing, and portfolio optimization, the Product Manager will work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and other partners to ensure product success from concept to retirement. Responsibilities include market and competitive analysis, customer advocacy, business case development for new products and services, and ongoing performance evaluation to guide investment decisions. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidence. Exceptional communication skills and consistent follow‑through are essential, as this role interfaces frequently with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field (engineering, sciences)
  • 4+ years of technical sales, product management/marketing, applications/engineering experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to quickly learn and navigate the company’s ERP system to track product‑level details.
  • Experience in product development or related functions such as sales, marketing, applications engineering, or operations; cross‑functional exposure is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actions.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to become a subject‑matter expert on company products, applications, and markets.
  • Ability to research and develop data‑driven business cases for new products, applications, and portfolio decisions.
  • Collaborative working style, demonstrating effectiveness in team environments and in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including customer visits, conferences, vendor meetings, or internal site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full product lifecycle for the degassing hardware portfolio, including roadmap development, requirement definition, prioritization, and execution of key growth and optimization initiatives.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance on all New Product Development (NPD) efforts, including early concept exploration, business case creation, value proposition development, pricing strategy, and commercialization planning.
  • Conduct rigorous Voice‑of‑Customer (VOC) research, market needs analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, define product requirements, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Analyze market landscapes and competitive offerings to guide positioning, differentiation, and long‑term product strategy.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute go‑to‑market plans, launch strategies, sales tools, training materials, and promotional content that effectively support adoption and growth.
  • Monitor and report product performance across key metrics—including revenue, margin, price realization, forecast accuracy, quality indicators, and customer satisfaction—and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Create, maintain, and update product documentation, including commercial datasheets, application notes, competitive battlecards, user guides, and technical collateral.
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑sales support in collaboration with Applications, Sales, and Customer Service teams, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and a positive customer experience.
  • Lead annual pricing and portfolio review processes, including segmentation, 80/20 analysis, SKU rationalization, and pricing strategy updates to support sustained profitable growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitor strategies, technologies, and roadmap directions to proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Ensure prompt, transparent communication and follow‑through on requests and escalations from Operations, Commercial, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear, timely project and portfolio documentation, including status updates, decision logs, risks, assumptions, and cross‑functional communication records.
  • Drive alignment across teams by facilitating discussions, clarifying ambiguous inputs, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the right decisions are made and documented.
  • Champion customer advocacy and product quality, consistently representing customer needs within the organization and ensuring product changes, improvements, or end‑of‑life activities reflect market expectations.
  • Support strategic planning activities, contributing insights on market trends, customer needs, technology shifts, and portfolio evolution to shape long‑term product direction.
