About The Position

As a Sr. Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for developing and driving our product execution strategy. You will compliment you and your team’s creativity through deep interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and needs. You will be responsible for all stages of the product life cycle (conception, definition, development, pricing, release, and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Other engineering/technical degree, MBA preferred
• 6+ years of experience in highly technical roles in product management, development, or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startups
• Experience working with or for Service Providers (MNO, MSO, ISP, Wisps) and MSPs preferred
• Strong desire to take ownership of the full product life cycle
• Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive
• Hands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology products
• Excellent written, verbal communication & presentation skills
• Domain expertise in security & network architecture preferred

Responsibilities

• Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioning
• Product Requirements, Feature prioritization and trade off decision making
• Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales
• Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
• Provide support to other departments for owned feature set
