About The Position

The Senior Product Manager will lead ElleVet’s product management efforts by defining the product vision and strategy for existing and new products. Responsible for product management execution throughout the product lifecycle, the Senior Product Manager will align product strategy with corporate strategy. This role directly contributes to the future of ElleVet by connecting customer, audience, and market insights with business objectives. The Senior Product Manager will conduct research, define the product roadmap, develop go-to-market strategies, and maintain a close understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally to formulate, execute, measure, and optimize targeted initiatives to increase profitability and market share.

Requirements

  • Strong product management and strategy development skills.
  • Experience with product development, launches, and optimizations.
  • Strategic thinker, active listener, and proven problem solver.
  • Established analytical skills and proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and results.
  • Ability to document, plan, market,and execute programs with high quality results as the owner and project manager.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and comfort interacting at all levels of an organization
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence.
  • Solid understanding and proven experience working in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • At least seven years of proven experience and success in a product manager role.  CPG or animal health industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set the short- and long-term vision and strategy for the product portfolio, including strategic growth roadmap.
  • Define objectives to gain market share and maximize profitability; develop and execute plans to make those objectives achievable.
  • Prepare and present future project proposals, highlighting how new business opportunities promote sustainable business growth across ecommerce, veterinary, and retail channels.
  • Drive go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new products including development and execution of product launches.
  • Develop pricing strategies to support revenue growth through a clear understanding of product profitability, customer needs, and competitive environment.
  • Drive the collection and analysis of competitive intelligence and measurement of market share; conduct primary market research to support business development opportunities.
  • Create a clear understanding of the current and future market direction, needs, and potential receptivity to existing and new products; incorporate this understanding into strategy and tactical product plans.
  • Collaborate with creative team to develop effective integrated marketing campaigns for key audiences, including veterinarians and pet parents.
  • Participate actively in R&D discussions, bringing an informed commercial perspective.
