Senior Product Manager

LINQAustin, TX
Hybrid

About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help shape the vision and direction of LINQ School Nutrition. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the product evolves in ways that are grounded in district needs, aligned with business goals, and deliver meaningful value to the nutrition professionals we serve. This role is client-focused at its core. You will spend time understanding how nutrition directors and district staff use LINQ School Nutrition today—where workflows are working well, where friction exists, and what outcomes matter most to the people running these programs. That understanding will drive product strategy, prioritization, and delivery decisions across the portfolio. As a senior member of the product organization, you will work across the end-to-end product lifecycle for LINQ School Nutrition. This includes discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery in close partnership with engineering and cross-functional teams. The role requires strong judgment, the ability to balance competing priorities, and comfort making decisions in a complex, regulation-adjacent product environment.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience as a Product Manager working on SaaS products, with direct ownership of established or evolving product areas.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex product areas with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to own prioritization and backlog decisions in environments with incomplete information and changing demands.
  • Strong client-facing experience, including regular engagement with customers to understand needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to balance product goals with delivery realities.
  • Comfort operating in environments with varying levels of structure, and a track record of bringing clarity and focus over time.
  • Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs and communicate decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A practical, outcome-oriented approach to product management and problem solving.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with K–12 nutrition programs, foodservice operations, or the regulatory environment surrounding school meal programs.
  • A demonstrated sense of ownership, with experience carrying work from problem definition through delivery.
  • Curiosity about how products are used in practice, and a tendency to ask thoughtful questions to understand client needs and constraints.
  • Comfort making decisions and taking responsibility for outcomes and tradeoffs.
  • The ability to bring clarity and momentum to ambiguous situations.
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to build trust with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Assess product capabilities, backlog health, and client needs to inform priorities and direction.
  • Define and maintain product priorities aligned to client outcomes, business goals, and delivery capacity.
  • Assist with building and maintaining a product roadmap that balances near-term reliability and usability improvements with longer-term strategic direction.
  • Serve as a voice of the client by engaging regularly with nutrition directors and district staff to develop a deep understanding of their day-to-day needs and challenges.
  • Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities for improvement, alignment, and differentiation within LINQ School Nutrition.
  • Maintain awareness of the broader K–12 nutrition market and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Introduce and maintain practical product management practices that improve clarity, alignment, and execution across the team.
  • Own and refine the product backlog, making thoughtful tradeoffs across competing demands.
  • Partner closely with engineering, QA, design, support, implementation, and leadership to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate priorities, decisions, risks, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide collaboration and informal mentorship to other product managers as appropriate.
