About The Position

WCF is an A Rated insurance carrier that is growing in the western U.S. and is looking for an applicant that wants to join a company with a great culture, competitive pay, and outstanding benefits. The product team has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a full-time Senior Product Manager , reporting to the Director, Product Management. The person in this position works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters or one of the regional offices located in Roseville, CA; Boise, ID; Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or Las Vegas, NV. Hybrid (office/home) work is available after training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, insurance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a strong background in product management, pricing strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching others in a professional setting.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product and pricing strategies for assigned areas, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve profitability and growth.
  • Provide strategic insights and lead initiatives to support enterprise objectives.
  • Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to inform product decisions.
  • Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Advocate for customer needs in product planning and development.
  • Lead pricing initiatives using data-driven methods and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement product and pricing changes.
  • Represent assigned products and geographies in cross-functional forums and to senior leadership.
  • Influence decision-making through clear communication and data-backed recommendations.
  • Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
