Senior Product Manager - User Progress

About The Position

As User Progress PM, you’ll own everything related to the user’s perceived value and progress — before, during, and even after the job search is complete. Your mission is to help users thrive, whether JobHire.AI directly delivered the job or not. You’ll design tools, systems, and feedback loops that increase transparency, trust, retention, and engagement, while building the foundation for long-term support like our AI career coach. You’ll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, support, marketing, and leadership to build features that users love to come back to, share with friends, and stay with long-term.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years experience in product management, ideally in B2C SaaS or growth-focused consumer apps
  • Are obsessed with value perception, UX, transparency, and retention
  • Have shipped high-impact features that drove user engagement or habit loops
  • Speak data-language, love design, already built AI/LLM-powered workflows
  • Are energized by messy user problems that don’t have clean answers — and you like making them simple
  • Are a structured problem solver who cuts through noise, prioritizes what matters most, and ships simple, effective solutions first
  • Take a hypothesis-driven approach to product discovery and delivery, validating ideas quickly and pragmatically
  • Demonstrate extreme ownership over outcomes, not just tasks

Responsibilities

  • Make AI actions and recruiter feedback visible and tweakable
  • Create a progress dashboard, improve smart inbox, and job queue manager
  • Ensure users feel supported even when results are delayed or come from external platforms (LinkedIn, referrals, etc.)
  • Build systems that celebrate user wins and support re-engagement after success
  • Create smart feedback loops that guide users to improve resumes, job preferences and settings, and search quality
  • Turn churn risks into motivation triggers
  • Lay the foundation for JobHire’s AI career coach
  • Build tools that help users reflect, recalibrate, and grow beyond their current role
  • Personalize experience over time with user input, data feedback, and goal tracking
  • Own user retention metrics, PMF Score, TrustPilot score, perceived value metrics
  • Understand user churn at a deep level and ship product improvements to solve root causes
