About The Position

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to join the Leo’s Global Business Customer Operations team. Our ideal teammate possesses a natural curiosity, sharp analytical skills, and is excited to build products and processes for our commercial business. We are looking for an individual that can craft the vision and lead implementation of sales lifecycle management tools and business support systems (BSS) for Kuiper’s commercial business operations. The candidate will work extensively with sales, marketing, deal desk, legal, and finance teams to understand business requirements and work with engineers to build solutions on both first party and third party solutions. As a Senior Product Manager Technical, you will be responsible for identifying and, discovering customer problems, defining business strategy, defining product vision, building the product roadmap, writing detailed requirements, evangelizing the product within the organization, managing executive stakeholders and launching product to target users. You will constantly need to make tradeoffs to balance between large forward thinking initiatives and smaller incremental value adds.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 7+ years of technical product management experience
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
