Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience working with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- 5+ years of product management experience
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies and key suppliers
Responsibilities
- Understand the needs and related trends for customers, TV partners, and offline consumer electronics retailers
- Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
- Define the product strategy for the region accounting for customers, partner and business needs
- Define the roadmap for TVs including TV line-up, specifications, software features working backwards from customers, partners, industry and business needs
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
- Work closely with engineering, program management, and QA teams to implement and deliver the product, on-time and exceeding a high quality bar
- Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.
- Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Go to Market, operations, PR and other teams
- Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap, product requirements
- Understand business requirements and write product requirementss (BRDs/PRDs), strategy docs, and PRFAQs
- Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
- Work with go-to-market, business development, finance, PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs
