About The Position

Own core capabilities in our sourcing optimization and costing suite that help procurement teams compare complex bids, model total landed cost, and make faster, higherâconfidence award decisions-directly inside our enterprise sourcing platform. Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction. Walmart's philosophy of Everyday Low Prices is not an easy one to achieve. Requirements

Curiosity + analytical depth-strong problem framing; comfortable working with optimization/analytics, experiments, and telemetry.
Procurement/RFx domain familiarity-experience with sourcing events, total cost modeling, or pricing/optimization tools is a plus.
Structured communication-turns complex math and tradeâoffs into clear, humanâreadable choices.
Ownership mindset-sets ambitious goals, manages risk, and adjusts quickly to hit the mark.
Bias for action-moves ideas from concept to shipped value in tight loops.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

Lead endâtoâend delivery of features like currentâstate analysis, cost breakdowns, scenario modeling, and optimization-compressing multiâweek analysis into nearârealâtime recommendations.
Make decisions explainable-partner with data science and engineering to expose assumptions, inputs, and tradeâoffs in a way stakeholders can trust.
Prove outcomes-define and track KPIs (analysis cycle time, adoption, savings realized), run experiments, and iterate quickly.
Drive integrations and changeâmanagement-land capabilities within procurement workflows and supplier interactions with minimal disruption.
Write to decide-concise PRDs, decision memos, and release notes that keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
