About The Position

The Lobo team at Walmart manages a unified shipping labeling platform that supports efficient, compliant package movement across the global supply chain. This team focuses on simplifying and standardizing label generation through a configurable, tenant-agnostic solution that reduces operational challenges and ensures compliance. By enabling seamless shipping processes, the team empowers various business units to operate confidently and effectively. The group values data-driven decision-making, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement to deliver scalable, reliable product solutions that align with Walmart’s business objectives and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management with expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile methodology and data-driven decision making to prioritize and deliver product solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and scope complex requirements, including functional and non-functional aspects, aligning with business objectives.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and mediating conflicting requirements to achieve consensus.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, scalability, and minimum viable product (MVP) design principles.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement processes and leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products,

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prioritize product requirements to align with business objectives and deliver minimum viable products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to mediate conflicting requirements and assess feasibility of new features.
  • Lead design of scalable, modular product solutions ensuring adherence to technical and non-functional requirements.
  • Guide agile teams in creating detailed user stories and managing product roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities based on customer feedback and data insights.
  • Oversee defect management, root cause analysis, and resolution to maintain product quality and performance.
  • Support program monitoring and ensure adherence to deployment schedules and performance metrics.
