About The Position

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we’re constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver their orders. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best-in-class service levels by pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space. We are doing this by building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called Delivery Partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss by delivering Amazon packages. As a Sr Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and launching new offers/iterations of the Amazon Flex product in different regions, as well as own the product strategy and roadmap for your workstream. You will start by interacting with business teams in NA, APAC, and EU, to understand their most pressing challenges and work backwards to identify growth and improvement opportunities. You will write 'white papers', design robust solutions for complex problems, make optimal trade off decisions for every milestone, and be accountable for the successful launch and scale of your product. Your solutions will deliver high caliber experiences for our Delivery Partners as well as solve for business needs. You will partner with a wide range of stakeholders including our Last Mile technology, operations, marketing, legal and policy teams to develop products, and will partner with regional Amazon Flex and business teams to execute your vision. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in project and stakeholder management, is a strong writer and communicator, and is resourceful. You are a ‘hands-on’ person with high level of autonomy and you are not afraid to drive results from the front. This will be a high-visibility role, meaning you are comfortable with driving critical business decisions in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and interacting with all levels of the organization.
