About The Position

Product Management Senior Advisor – Emerging Technologies Are you ready to drive the development of AI-powered solutions that will transform the way Provider Operations works? This opportunity focuses on enabling and scaling advanced Generative AI and agentic capabilities that improve the ease, speed, and quality of work for our internal teams across healthcare provider-facing workflows. This position requires combining the ability to rapidly get up to speed on complex business processes with strong applied expertise in emerging AI techniques to shape high-impact solutions. You will partner with multiple Empowered Product Teams (EPTs), Product Managers, and engineering/AI leaders to identify the most valuable opportunities, guide solution approaches, and help remove obstacles to successful deployment within the Provider Operations and Coverage Review Ops organization. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within this emerging field as technology allows us to reinvent the way we work. Job Description Summary The Product Management Senior Advisor – AI Enablement drives solution strategy and enables execution across multiple Empowered Product Teams (EPTs) to maximize the value and transformational potential of AI-powered capabilities within Provider Operations and Coverage Review Ops. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment within and between EPTs in the areas they support by shaping shared solution approaches, accelerating delivery through influence, and partnering closely with Product Managers, technology teams, and operations leaders. The Product Management Senior Advisor will identify the most intractable problems facing provider-facing workflows (claims, provider data, calls, appeals, and authorization) and work with engineering and AI partners to apply appropriate Generative AI and agentic techniques to address them—ensuring product timelines, accuracy, performance, and adoption are not negatively impacted. This role achieves results by rapidly learning complex business processes, moving from zero knowledge to functional understanding quickly, and translating that understanding into clear, high-impact solution direction. In collaboration with product designers, operations, and tech leads, the Product Management Senior Advisor will guide development of AI-enabled solutions by establishing strong problem–technology alignment, promoting reusable patterns across teams, clearing roadblocks, and driving enterprise-level alignment. When a solution is sufficiently centered on agentic capabilities, this role may also assume direct ownership of an AI-first product or capability area, while maintaining its primary focus on enabling multiple teams and scaling effective AI solutions across the provider domain. The Emerging Technologies Product Team This is a dedicated team that focuses on working in the Product Operating Model framework with the goal of developing applications powered by cutting edge technology for our internal teams. Team members use their expertise in leading Generative AI techniques and other technologies to maximize value and transformational potential. The team collaborates in a highly matrixed and fast-moving environment, working with a variety of matrix partners and leadership to achieve the enterprise goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, analytics, computer science, or alternative STEM field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience developing products and/or defining product strategy for technology-based products; experience with emerging technology strongly preferred
  • 1+ year experience delivering or enabling Generative AI-powered applications; experience or deep knowledge of Generative AI / agentic solution patterns preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of prompt and context engineering concepts, agentic workflows, and LLM foundations, with the ability to influence solution design and partner effectively with engineering and AI teams
  • Ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions that have an appropriate problem–technology alignment and drive maximum value for business areas
  • Fast learner who can quickly get up to speed in new areas of work, going from zero knowledge to functional understanding rapidly
  • Ability to work comfortably with all levels of management including senior and executive leadership
  • Proven ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment to carve out a productive role and drive results through influence in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience in the healthcare space, preferred in provider claims, provider data, appeals and/or coverage review.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and enables cross-functional EPT(s) consisting of product, technology, and operations to identify, prioritize, and deliver agentic and Generative AI-powered solutions across Provider Operations workflows (claims, provider data, calls, appeals, authorization), ensuring solutions align to leadership vision and measurable value outcomes
  • Partners with Product Managers across the Provider pillar to shape and guide AI-enabled capabilities within their products, driving alignment of solution approach, shared patterns, and reusable components across EPTs
  • Develops and socializes solution approaches that connect business problems to appropriate AI techniques, partnering closely with engineering and operations to ensure strong problem–technology fit, practical adoption, and operational feasibility
  • Drives development and iterative improvement of AI-enabled product capabilities to achieve value targets, remove delivery roadblocks, and maintain timelines, accuracy, and performance expectations.
  • Creates, maintains, and presents the Product Solution Design document to provide a high-level view of the product flow, technologies utilized, and expected outcomes for leadership and matrix partners; ensures documentation remains current as solutions evolve
  • Identifies major risks, issues, and dependencies impacting AI solution outcomes (e.g., data readiness, model behavior, workflow integration, controls), and partners with technology teams to mitigate and resolve them
  • Drives synergies between products and EPTs by promoting consistent AI patterns, shared approaches, and coordinated delivery planning across aligned teams, reducing duplication and improving speed-to-value
  • Partners with the AI Center of Enablement to:
  • Define and refine Generative AI / Agentic integration strategy for complex Provider Ops problems
  • Implement and improve Generative AI capabilities through experimentation, learning loops, and performance monitoring
  • Overcome obstacles as they arise in deployment, including workflow change management, governance, and operational adoption constraints
  • Owns an AI-first product or capability area when applicable, particularly when the primary value proposition is driven by agentic solutions, while maintaining an overall enablement posture across the Provider
