  • Strong ability to define product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics with a metrics-informed approach, including defining economy health metrics, running experiments, and using data to guide prioritization and iteration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, including close collaboration with engineering teams using modern development workflows and tooling such as GitHub.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort operating independently in hybrid or distributed teams using clear documentation and asynchronous communication.
  • Experience delivering economy features across desktop and mobile platforms with awareness of platform-specific constraints and user behaviors.
  • Familiarity with partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors on economy-related integrations or services.
  • Openness to applying AI-assisted tools to support analysis, experimentation, or product development workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for economy systems end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, iteration, and measurement.
  • Lead cross-functional prioritization and coordination across product, engineering, design, data, support, operations, marketing, and QA to deliver scalable, resilient economy features in our live, persistent, user-generated environment.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to balance feature development with technical constraints and platform stability, applying a metrics-informed approach to evaluate economic health including sources and sinks, pricing, fraud risk, and impact on both residents and creators.
  • Incorporate qualitative and quantitative user feedback into economic decisions, ensuring high-quality delivery through disciplined planning, testing, and risk management while balancing user trust, fairness, and long-term engagement with monetization goals.
  • Shape how real people build livelihoods, express themselves, and create meaning in a thriving global community through your product decisions.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership, influencing beyond your immediate product area through strong judgment, clear communication, and consistent delivery.
