About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Manager focused on federal government tax solutions. In this role, you will manage the strategic integration of our professional tax software with federal agency systems, including AI-powered enhancements that will help shape the future of tax technology for both government and commercial markets. As a Senior Product Manager – Direct Tax, you will be responsible for: Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for federal government engagements while contributing to our broader commercial product strategy. Collaborating with engineering, content, and support teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features and improvements for both government and commercial customers. Managing stakeholder relationships with federal agency personnel and conducting user research to identify pain points and prioritize enhancements that deliver the greatest impact. Coordinating integration features including API capabilities and data exchange between our tax products and federal enterprise systems. Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and enhance performance. You're a fit for the role if your background includes: 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager. Strong technical background with knowledge of API integrations and enterprise system connectivity. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Understanding of US federal tax compliance processes and professional tax preparation workflows a plus. This isn't just government work—you'll be working on a flagship commercial tax product used by all the top accounting firms nationwide. You’ll tailor the solution to meet the government’s needs, while at the same time driving value for our commercial customer base.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of API integrations and enterprise system connectivity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Understanding of US federal tax compliance processes and professional tax preparation workflows a plus.
