We are launching a new product line focused on custom hosting solutions and managed services designed to meet the unique infrastructure and operational needs of mid-market customers. As the Product Manager responsible for the product, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering tailored hosting offerings by working directly with potential clients. Your mission is to deeply understand diverse customer requirements, collaborate across product, engineering, and service teams, and create scalable, customer-centric hosting solutions that drive business growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on infrastructure, cloud platforms, hosting, or managed services.
• Proven track record of engaging with enterprise customers directly to understand complex technical and business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of hosting environments including public cloud, private cloud, hybrid architectures, and virtualization/containerization technologies.
• Experience working closely with engineering and operations teams to develop technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where ambiguity is common and initiative is valued.
• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks relevant to hosting and cloud environments (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Technical background in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or software development.
• Experience in launching new product lines or go-to-market strategies in infrastructure or hosting domains.
• Hands-on experience with managed services offerings or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) products.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery by engaging directly with prospects and existing clients to gather detailed requirements for custom hosting and managed service solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer infrastructure needs, compliance constraints, workload patterns, and business goals.
• Translate customer insights into a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new line of custom hosting solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and support teams to design flexible, scalable hosting architectures and managed services offerings tailored for customer environments.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for custom hosting offerings, including requirements definition, prioritization, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate market trends and competitor custom hosting and managed service offerings to identify differentiation opportunities.
• Work closely with sales and solution architects to support go-to-market activities and enable customer success.
• Define key success metrics, monitor performance, and iterate on product features to ensure high customer satisfaction and business impact.
• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that custom hosting solutions align with client needs, compliance, and industry best practices.
