About The Position

Optum is a global organization that delivers care, aided by technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. The Senior Product Manager, Partnership Management is a strategic leadership role within Optum Insight’s CrimsonAI product team, playing a critical role in launching new products and managing vendor partnerships. This leader will be responsible for building strong executive relationships and driving CrimsonAI market growth. The Senior Product Manager will serve as the main point of contact between the Optum CrimsonAI team and our strategic partner. They will work closely with our external vendor as well as product, sales, marketing, and account executive teams to further our clinical analytic vision, represent the Optum organization, and bring solutions to market.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in either Consulting, Product or Business Development
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing function
  • Experience with channel partner management and development
  • Solid relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in a variety of settings
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Ability to travel 25-50%

  • Demonstrated experience leading senior-level presentations and discussions or workshops
  • Strength in making data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem including providers and regulatory agencies

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact between Optum CrimsonAI team and third-party vendor
  • Manage executive relationships as well as organize and coordinate workstreams to ensure quality & on time product launch
  • Become an expert in the space by building knowledge of customer needs and trends, the competitive landscape, and new approaches/technologies in the industry
  • Effectively communicate both the big picture as well as deeply understand the details
  • Operate effectively in a matrixed organization working across product, sales, marketing, operations, pricing, and legal
  • Lead sales presentations and partner with marketing to drive early customer growth
  • Architect solutions for customers and lead presentations, proposals, and overall client solution strategy in collaboration with sales
