About The Position

We’re looking for a Product-Led Growth (PLG) Manager to accelerate organic user acquisition and engagement through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, product, engineering and content, driving discovery of Roblox experiences, creators, and brands across the open web and emerging AI-driven search platforms. You’ll own the strategy and execution for how Roblox content surfaces when users search for experiences, genres, creators, or topics across platforms like Google, Youtube and conversational engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You’ll partner closely with product, data science, and engineering to design search-friendly experiences, scalable metadata systems, and content structures that amplify discoverability and conversion. You will report directly to the Head of Growth Marketing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO or web optimization, with a strong focus on emerging search technologies and AI-driven discovery.
  • Proven expertise in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — including featured snippets, structured data, and entity-based search frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex SEO and AEO concepts into clear, actionable business strategies.
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the evolving role of AI and LLMs in search ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in analytics and diagnostic tools, such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, GA4, and similar platforms.
  • Track record of partnering with Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities and embed search optimization into product systems.
  • Experience collaborating with content and analytics teams to design, implement, and measure scalable SEO initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute advanced SEO strategies optimized for Answer Engines (AEO) and Generative Search (GEO) — including Google’s AI Overview and emerging AI-driven platforms — to grow user acquisition, creator engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Design structured, intent-driven content experiences that surface across featured snippets, AI-generated summaries, and conversational search results.
  • Collaborate across teams (Content, UX, Product, and Engineering) to ensure all digital experiences are optimized for both traditional and AI search ecosystems.
  • Run experiments across titles, genres, and landing pages to identify levers that drive CTR, dwell time, and conversion growth.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to build scalable site architectures, metadata systems, and interlinking frameworks that enhance discoverability and ranking.
  • Collaborate with BD and Comms to initiate backlinking strategy to improve Roblox site authority.
  • Develop playbooks defining how Roblox content surfaces in SERPs, LLM-driven assistants, and AI answer engines through structured data and conversational content optimization.
  • Implement and refine schema markup and entity-based SEO to improve visibility in AI-powered search interfaces.
  • Analyze and report performance across SEO, AEO, and GEO channels, translating insights into actionable recommendations for product and content teams.
  • Educate stakeholders on emerging search behaviors and the impact of generative AI on discoverability, helping teams evolve strategies proactively.
