About The Position

Tzafon is a research firm building scalable compute systems and advancing machine intelligence, with offices in San Francisco, Zurich and Tel Aviv. We recently raised $12m+ in pre-seed funding to advance our mission of expanding the frontiers of machine intelligence. We're a team of engineers and scientists with deep backgrounds in ML infrastructure & research. Founded by IOI and IMO medalists, PhDs, and alumni from leading tech companies, we train models and build infrastructure for swarms of agents to automate work across real-world environments. In this role, you'll be part of our Platform team focused on designing the next generation platform for safe, transparent, and agentic AI.

Requirements

5+ years of experience leading end-to-end design for digital products, with a track record of shipping work that meaningfully improved key product metrics
High proficiency in design tools such as Figma
Genuine excitement about designing beautiful, thoughtful interfaces for machine intelligence
Strong design taste and conviction, favoring decisive actions over heavy processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience with motion graphics and After Effects
Experience designing for enterprise applications
Background in creating design systems that scale from marketing to complex products
Understanding of how to visualize real-time processes and live data
Experience working directly with technical teams
Strong educational foundation in design, whether from formal education (RISD, Parsons, Art Center) or self-directed learning with exceptional portfolio

Responsibilities

Develop the visual language for our Lightcone platform
Design interaction patterns and flows for human-in-the-loop workflows when users need to guide agents
Work directly with our executive team to maintain brand simplicity while solving new interaction problems
Design and produce visual content that showcases our technology and culture
Collaborate with design partners to align our vision & brand
Be an important contributor to overall platform & product direction

NB: For this role, we also accept remote applicants. We have a relocation bonus if you decide to move closer to one of our main offices.

Compensation is in the range of $200k-$400k (including equity), depending on experience & location.
