Senior Product Design Engineer, Pixel Camera Hardware
About The Position
As a Senior Product Design Engineer for the Tech Engineering Imaging and Vision (TEIV) team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design and development of camera modules from concept to production, including managing the Mechanical Control Outline (MCO) and internal mechanical structures and geometries. In this role, you will lead camera product design, ensure seamless integration into the final product, and serve as the primary mechanical design representative across all cross-functional teams. Furthermore, you will function as the mechanical expert for the camera hardware team, undertaking critical tasks such as reviewing supplier drawings, conducting Design for Manufacturing (DfM) analyses, performing detailed tolerance analyses, evaluating emergent opto-mechanical technologies, and addressing design challenges to integrate advanced camera systems.
