About The Position

Strava is the app for active people. With over 180 million athletes in more than 185 countries, it’s more than tracking workouts—it’s where people make progress together, from new habits to new personal bests. No matter your sport or how you track it, Strava’s got you covered. Find your crew, crush your goals, and make every effort count. Start your journey with Strava today. Our mission is simple: to motivate people to live their best active lives. We believe in the power of movement to connect and drive people forward. As our Senior Product Counsel, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Strava's products and features. You’ll serve as a trusted legal partner and subject-matter expert to our cross-functional teams, helping to build the legal foundation needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape around technology, privacy, and AI. You’ll develop creative, scalable solutions that manage risk and move the business forward with confidence. You’ll embrace AI as a core part of how you work; bringing curiosity, sound judgment, and an experimental mindset to using AI tools to drive efficiency, accelerate problem-solving, and operate with greater speed and impact. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, commercially-minded, AI-forward attorney who thrives at the intersection of law and product innovation. It’s perfect for someone who brings deep expertise in privacy and emerging global SaaS-related regulations, a pragmatic approach to complex problems, and a genuine passion for partnering with technical teams to build products that are as legally sound as they are delightful. This role will report to the Deputy General Counsel. We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site in our San Francisco office — three days per week.
