The Product Analyst will support the development and optimization of upstream merchandising systems, including assortment planning, assortment management, assortment optimization, new store assortment planning, and store group management. A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes is critical to success in this role. The Product Analyst must understand the full user journey—from upstream merchandising inputs through downstream operational and reporting impacts—to ensure changes are thoughtfully designed and do not create unintended system or process disruptions. Working closely with product, engineering, merchandising, and analytics teams, the Product Analyst will translate business needs into clear requirements and workflows, while ensuring users have access to the insights and data necessary to make informed merchandising decisions. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will partner with product managers, product designers and software engineers to deliver products and services that align to strategic priorities as well as achieve product-market fit. You will be an active participant in the organization and deliver high-quality products through the following: Analytical Services As a Senior Product Analyst, you will lead strategic analytic services in partnership with technology and business teammates. You may work across multiple technology portfolios, business domains and functions to develop an in-depth understanding of the business, processes, services and operations. Data Steward Where appropriate, you will act as a technical data steward for priority data domains where you will support efforts in documenting data definitions and key business metric calculations. This role is a critical enabler to ensuring the data moving through the system is governed and accurate within data domains. Functional/Technical Requirements The Senior Product Analyst role partners closely with product managers to understand the strategic vision and roadmap of a product. You will work with several product managers across several product teams to identify and document functional and technical specifications for product development. You will work with software engineering, data engineering and architecture to determine how to develop the solution to meet the product and customer expectations. As part of the team, you are accountable to partner with software engineering and product management on the testing and acceptance of technical requirements before shipping to production. Operations Support You will implement maintenance and efficiency procedures, monitor product health and stability, gather system statistics and troubleshoot reported errors. Working back with the product team to ensure prioritization and resolution as quickly as possible.
