Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Analyst to support production, supply chain, and capacity planning in the fast-paced semiconductor industry. This role develops reports that enable data-driven planning decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience developing Tableau dashboards for operational or planning use
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization best practices
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support production, supply chain, and capacity planning
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting planning decisions
  • Collaborate with planning and cross-functional stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and data reliability
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to address changing business needs
  • Ensure consistent data definitions, metrics, and visualization standards across reports
  • Document report logic, data sources, and business assumptions
