About The Position

Fervo is working to build the most cost-effective, repeatable geothermal power plants in the world. Delivering on this mission requires more than technical innovation — it demands disciplined commercial execution, strong supplier partnerships, and procurement systems that scale alongside complex, capital-intensive projects. As Fervo expands, the Procurement function plays a critical role in ensuring cost competitiveness, managing commercial risk, and enabling on-time project delivery across a rapidly growing portfolio. Building a high-performing Procurement organization requires rigorous sourcing strategies, thoughtful contract structuring, proactive supplier management, and continuous improvement of processes and controls. This role exists to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and strengthen the commercial foundation that enables Fervo to scale efficiently and responsibly. The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage end-to-end procurement processes in support of Fervo’s development and project execution activities. This is a high-impact role focused on commercial excellence — from supplier prequalification and competitive bid processes through negotiation, purchase order execution, and change management. In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to ensure procurement strategies align with project objectives, risk tolerance, and budget targets. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment, structured negotiation capability, and operational rigor, and thrives in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment where building scalable systems is as important as closing individual transactions.
