About The Position

We are seeking a precision-focused Senior Procurement Specialist to execute sourcing operations under strategic leadership. As procurement’s operational engine, you’ll own vendor negotiations, risk mitigation, SaaS/vendor consolidation, and process rigor across technology, marketing, professional services, and other mission-critical spend. Your discipline will transform cost containment and streamline partnerships, enabling the organization to achieve scalable agility. Where You'll Be To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience negotiating contracts (SaaS, marketing, professional services).
  • Financial Acumen:
  • Proven understanding of PO coding, GL alignment, budget variance tracking, and category management.
  • Experience maintaining policy-compliant workflows and audit-ready documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Skills:
  • Track record of embedding Legal/Security requirements into contracts.
  • Ability to advise stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, Oracle), CLM tools, MS Office.
  • Professional Resilience:
  • Receives feedback; escalates formally.
  • Thrives in agile environments, adapting procurement strategies swiftly to evolving business priorities without compromising compliance or stakeholder alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology and the ability to spot key dates (renewals, expirations) in vendor agreements.
  • Experience specific to managing software licenses and digital tool subscriptions.
  • Interest or experience in identifying opportunities for cost savings or vendor consolidation

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Management:
  • Execute day-to-day complex contract renewals, intake requests, and sourcing across software, marketing, and professional services.
  • Analyze spend data to surface savings opportunities, market trends, and vendor risks.
  • Review SOWs, MSAs, and contractual language for compliance (e.g., PHI/PII/HIPAA).
  • Process Rigor & Documentation:
  • Maintain 100% policy-compliant procurement workflows
  • Keep contract repositories, approval records, and risk assessments, audit-ready
  • Vendor Management:
  • Maintain 100% policy-compliant procurement workflows.
  • Keep contract repositories, approval records, and risk assessments audit-ready.
  • Cross-functional partnership:
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Security, and FP&A to embed guardrails into contracts.
  • Translate business needs into procurement requirements while advising stakeholders.
  • Team Enablement & mentorship: Act as a pillar of operational excellence for other team members:
  • Share procurement best practices and mentor junior team members.
