Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of chemicals used in specific process
  • Must complete site specific safety training and operator training
  • Ability to communicate clearly to team members
  • Familiarity with MS Office suites
  • CARBON: Be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training

Responsibilities

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
  • Read and follow documented processes
  • Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Loads and unloads deliveries to and from regional branches
  • Operate computer to enter necessary documentation
  • Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Contributes to division results and performance
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
  • Operate equipment specific to area such as:CARBON: Bag products, samples and test: Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace: Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon: calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin: Operate forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and on/off trucks: evacuates bottles, generating resin batches: fills and quality tests SDI products (process SDI product beginning to end).
