About The Position

JOB PURPOSE Reporting into the Manufacturing Excellence Manager, you are directly involved with leading change and making sure our factory stays World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will utilize your full range of Continuous Improvement methods and tools to identify, prioritize, and eliminate factory losses working autonomously or with cross functional partnership. Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience within a CPG/FMCG production facility
  • BS in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial)
  • Experience executing projects using Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM / WCM /Kaizen / Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt).
  • Highly skilled in Excel, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Certification (nice to have)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits (nice to have)
  • Familiar with controls and automation with Rockwell PLCs (nice to have)
  • Union factory experience (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities with process and packing equipment
  • Responsible for the improvement of waste and performance metrics for assigned production lines
  • Increase stability of the production line to support our vision from traditional line teams to a semi-autonomous team
  • Prioritize projects through data stratification of factory downtime and waste data
  • Identify growth and savings opportunities within the factory and develop business cases around them
  • Manage small projects from ideation through implementation
  • Work closely with operators and maintenance team during continuous improvement activities and act as the technical trainer when needed
  • Provide coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis, and the establishment of countermeasures
  • Any other responsibilities as needed
