About The Position

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations, as well as implementing yield, process and product improvements.Essential Functions:
Maintians safety, product quality/yield and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of process difficulties through a hands on and collaborative approach.
Takes initiative to optimize/continuously improve manufacturing processes to provide sustainable gains in cost effectiveness and product performance through capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments and procedural changes.
Works with internal functions outside of operations as well as customers on technical/quality issues and provide special products.
Works to resolve problems, develop, and start up new products.
Serve as an informal leader and mentor junior engineers.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Lean six sigma/Green Belt or demonstrated experience in continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with engineering and statistical analysis software.
