Build and maintain relationships with clients.Participate in writing proposals. Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Required to have Professional Engineer registration or licensure, or willingness/ability to pursue such registration.

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor process water and wastewater characteristics, treatment challenges and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of industrial water, wastewater, and water reuse systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
  • With limited direction, develops and applies advanced treatment and engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to solve complex engineering problems unique to the semiconductor industry.
  • Develop and present technical evaluations and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Supervise junior engineers in performing design work.
  • Perform all aspects of conventional process design engineering analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Participate in writing proposals.
  • Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater treatment and delivery systems.
  • Support fab expansions, greenfield developments and advanced manufacturing campuses.
  • Evaluate, select and integrate advanced treatment technologies such as chemical precipitation, biological treatment, membrane treatment, ion exchange, evaporation/crystallization and solids handling.
  • Prepares a variety of moderately complex process engineering deliverables: PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, Equipment Datasheets and Specifications.
  • Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
  • Responsible for detailed design and procurement of water treatment systems, including construction and commissioning support.
  • Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Reviews junior engineering work or assignments.
  • Is responsible for one or more of the following: overseeing collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work; leading smaller production teams; and serving as the responsible charge for a project.
  • Serves as a technical specialist and has knowledge and skill set to provide consultation and guidance to project teams in a particular practice area.
  • Designs a complete project of complex scope within an assigned practice area.
  • Coordination with our industrial water team and segments regarding thought leadership and presentations at critical conferences.
