About The Position

Primary Function of Position The Senior Procedure Data Analyst will lead efforts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of procedure data across the business. This analyst will be responsible for ensuring our procedure data has strong controls and meets all SOX compliance requirements. This analyst will partner closely with the Digital and IT organizations to create analytics, new business processes, and data governance around procedures.This highly visible role will be part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Reporting team, and own OnSite Procs, several procedure controls for external reporting, and other key analytics around procedure data for the company. Roles and ResponsibilitiesDigital P360 Prioritization: Play a key role in prioritizing Digital P360 releases by assessing their impact and alignment with business goals. Provide strategic insights to drive the successful implementation of digital initiatives and ensure new product launches have the appropriate reporting and data infrastructure in place to support financial reporting requirements.Impact Analysis: Help the organization (Digital, IT, etc.) understand the broader implications of Digital implementations on the company and reduce risk to internal processes and external reporting. Analyze data to gauge the effectiveness of digital transformations and provide recommendations for optimization.Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between finance, digital, and IT teams to ensure alignment of objectives and effective communication of data-driven insights.Insights: Leverage analytical skills to surface insights that will inform Digital product design, revenue recognition, forecasting, and strategic planning.Data Navigation: Work across ambiguous and evolving datasets, leveraging strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills to drive alignment and resolve conflicts between stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and execute process improvements by leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale.Data Issue Identification & Resolution: Collaborate closely with Digital and IT teams to identify, analyze, and resolve data issues. Develop a thorough understanding of data flows and dependencies across systems.Proactive Monitoring: Create and implement robust monitoring frameworks to anticipate and address potential data problems before they impact business operations.Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure procedure reporting is complete, accurate, timely and in compliance with SOX.

Requirements

Minimum 4+ years of relevant data analysis, data science, business analytics, or finance experience
Advanced proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, including experience building complex data models, ability to generate insights and help with decision making
Exceptional leadership, relational, and communication skills, ability to synthesize information, resolve conflict, drive consensus, and reach conclusions
Deep analytical skills, a strong ability to work with complex data, and excellent ability to navigate ambiguity
Intellectually curious and self-motivated
Quick learner and ability to drive successful results with limited supervision
Fast, high-quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
Regularly anticipate future challenges and business needs, and anticipate follow-ups and secondary implications
This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or Economics related discipline
