Make a difference The Senior Privacy Analyst is responsible for assisting with the monitoring and investigation of patient privacy-related issues. In this role, you will run and analyze reports to identify potential concerns, conduct comprehensive privacy investigations, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for compliance and privacy-related questions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Two-plus (2+) years of experience in healthcare or privacy required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws related to healthcare and ability to comprehend regulatory matters
  • Proven ability to function independently and exercise judgment in accordance with program goals and objectives
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis, including analyzing relevant information and preparing reports
  • Team oriented and customer focused; performs at a level requiring minimal direct supervision; ability to work in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of complex health care systems
  • Knowledge of and experience in information privacy, access, and release of information laws
  • While this position is fully remote, you must live in IN, IL, MI, OH, KY, TX or FL to be eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or licensure in healthcare, privacy or information systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct privacy-related investigations from beginning to end which includes conducting interviews and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
