About The Position

Data & Intelligence Go-to-Market Retail/CPG Portfolio Leader - Senior Principal - Seattle Please note: This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Seattle office and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed. This role could require travel to support the region between 10-25%. This position reports to the Regional Capability Lead and is based in Seattle, WA supporting the PNW (Seattle, Portland) region, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving Data and Intelligence sales and fostering customer-centric go-to-market strategies. As the Data & Intelligence Go-to-Market Lead for PNW, you will be responsible for building a high-performing go-to-market team and function while owning the growth strategy for Slalom's data and intelligence offerings. You'll cultivate an inclusive, entrepreneurial team culture that attracts and retains top talent in data and AI, and position Slalom as a trusted innovation partner across the PNW region. In this uniquely positioned leadership role, you'll tailor and scale our national vision into a local force—where innovation, execution, and business relevance converge. You'll collaborate with leading technology partners and Slalom client teams to identify high-impact opportunities, drive sales and revenue growth, and elevate our go-to-market presence. Requirements

  • Prior Consulting Experience: Minimum 7+ years in Managed or IT Professional Consulting required.
  • Revenue Management: Manage capability revenue objectives ranging from $1.5 million to $3.5 million.
  • Proactive GTM Approach: Cultivate strategic relationships and initiated actions to expand the sales pipeline, collaborating closely with sales teams and client partners to identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Growth Mindset: Represent the organization as an external speaker at Retail/CPG industry events and engaged professionally with customer CXOs.
  • Leadership: Utilize strategic and critical analysis to address evolving market demands and strengthen Data and Intelligence sales initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively across cross-functional teams and organizations to drive Data and Intelligence sales and advance customer-centric initiatives.
  • Technical Experience: Provide technical leadership, delivering solutions in collaboration with leading partners including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, and Dataiku.

Responsibilities

  • Tailor regional or country-wide capability strategies to the PNW markets, considering client portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors.
  • Drive Data and Intelligence sales initiatives by leveraging market insights and aligning strategic priorities with customer needs.
  • Proactively create demand by seeking speaking opportunities at conferences and events to establish yourself and your team as Data and Intelligence capability thought leaders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan Slalom-led thought leadership events focused on Data and Intelligence solutions and client outcomes.
  • Ignite awareness and generate demand for Data and Intelligence capabilities by engaging in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs.
  • Be accountable for Data and Intelligence sales growth and managing the opportunity pipeline through to closure, ensuring alignment with market strategies.
  • Partner with client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue Data and Intelligence-related opportunities.
  • Drive data opportunities at our Retail/CPG clients.
  • Serve as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, engaging broader capability team SMEs as needed to align with market strategy.
  • Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with the go-to-market team.
  • Support the development of a small team of direct reports with a focus on Data and Intelligence go-to-market activities.
  • Provide feedback for performance management related to capability team members involved in market pursuits and delivery.
  • Contribute to delivery in billable roles as a Delivery Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within the market's portfolio, with defined utilization targets.
