The Senior Pricing Analyst for the Air & Water business will serve as a key partner to Strategic Accounts, responsible for evaluating, developing, and communicating pricing strategies that support growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role assesses pricing requests, analyzes market dynamics, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver timely, accurate decisions. The analyst will work closely with Product, Sales, and broader Air & Water stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, helping to identify process improvements and supporting ongoing system enhancement initiatives. While our Louisville, KY headquarters is preferred, the work location is flexible for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to apply pricing and financial principles.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and communicate insights in clear, non-technical terms.
  • Situational adaptability, demonstrating the ability to balance routine responsibilities with urgent requests and longer-term projects.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Data Analytics, and/or Process Improvement.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical capability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong capability with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pricing processes (quoting, deal review, price development, price communication).
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and/or appliance sales channels relevant to Air & Water products.
  • Familiarity with GE Appliances’ Air & Water product portfolio.
  • Experience in Sales, Finance, or Sourcing.
  • Working knowledge of Pricefx or similar pricing software.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Pricing Review RFPs and price-change requests for Strategic Account Air & Water customers.
  • Analyze customer program proposals, ensuring compliance with business requirements and proper documentation.
  • Partner with Product Leaders and Sales to expedite pricing responses and resolve complex requests.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in all pricing communicated to customers.
  • Identify, escalate, and help troubleshoot process and system issues that impact pricing workflows.
  • Participate in definition of business requirements for ongoing system and process enhancements.
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor pricing, historical sales performance, and customer behavior.
  • Translate findings into relevant insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
