About The Position

Acumatica is hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Specialist for our growing team! The Presales Specialist will empower Acumatica VAR partners across Asia by providing deep expertise in the Acumatica Platform and AI capabilities. Through impactful demos, webinars, events, and structured partner enablement, this role will strengthen technical proficiency and drive solution adoption within the regional channel ecosystem. For this role, we're open to hire in the Philippines, Sri'Lanka or India. This role reports to the Director, Asia sales.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Pre-sales role.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Cloud ERP concepts (SaaS architecture, multi-tenancy, security, performance).
  • Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, data migration, and third-party ecosystem solutions.
  • Basic understanding of: AWS (or cloud infrastructure fundamentals), Data concepts (BI, dashboards, analytics), AI fundamentals (machine learning basics, automation use cases, predictive insights).
  • Ability to understand and explain customization vs. configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of solution discovery and qualification processes.
  • Ability to map technical features to business outcomes.
  • Experience conducting: Live demos, Webinars, Event presentations.
  • Understanding of proof-of-concept (POC) strategy.
  • Experience enabling partners technically (train-the-trainer mindset).
  • Presentation and storytelling techniques.
  • Ability to present effectively to diverse audiences (technical + executive).

Responsibilities

  • Product Expertise. Become an ERP and AI domain specialist for building solutions using platform technology, AI, ISVs, and low-code/no-code tools. Understand how the core modules (financials, CRM, etc.), vertical specific modules, and marketplace products come together to deliver a solution.
  • Discovery and Planning. Gather information related to customer operations, requirements, and challenges. Focus the discovery on how to improve processes and streamline business operations.
  • Product Demonstrations. Prepare an environment and deliver compelling demonstrations so customers understand how Acumatica software will work to meet their specific business goals in Webinars, Demos, Events and during Partner Enablement.
  • Partner Enablement. Work with Acumatica partners to help them architect solutions and train them during Partner Enablement.
  • Thought Leadership. Assist with creating and delivering webinars, white papers, training, and blog articles to establish Acumatica as a trusted leader in the mid-sized business management software industry.
  • Support sales teams and partners in closing deals by performing demonstrations, preparing demo materials, supporting with solutioning, and answering questions.
