Senior Power Builder Application Developer

About The Position

Foundation Software, provider of construction software and services and one of Northeast Ohio's top workplaces, seeks a permanent, full-time Senior PowerBuilder Application Developer for continued development and maintenance of our accounting software system. The position involves analysis, coding, debugging, troubleshooting and testing, using MS SQL Server and PowerBuilder. You will work closely with project managers and the QA team. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards. Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications, as required. Collaborate with project managers, QA, and other team members. Attend planning and design meetings. Assist in troubleshooting the application. Mentor other developers as needed. Perform all duties in a professional, responsive and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors. Required Skills and Experience: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server and PowerBuilder Experience with Appeon PowerServer 2021 a plus VB.Net, C# or Delphi experience helpful, but not required Possess troubleshooting/problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, leadership and external clients Working at Foundation What's great about working for Foundation? Requirements

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server and PowerBuilder
Possess troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, leadership and external clients

Nice To Haves

Experience with Appeon PowerServer 2021 a plus
VB.Net, C# or Delphi experience helpful, but not required
