About The Position

Seldin Company is seeking a Senior Portfolio Facilities Director located in either Texas or Oklahoma . This position will offer a competitive salary, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education. HVAC or EPA Certification and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time is required. This role performs facilities services for a portfolio of properties to ensure compliance with the standards and expectations of Seldin Company and property-specific goals. Working closely with and reporting to the Vice President of PM, this role evaluates facilities and overall maintenance operations at the multiple sites in the assigned portfolio. This includes training and support of the service staff and having authority, responsibility, and accountability to plan, implement, and monitor overall maintenance operations profitability and quality service. Maintains the investments while providing reports and feedback on processes and areas of improvement. Utilizes management skills to train, motivate, and empower associates to reach their and property goals. Actively participates in industry organizations and associations to continue education within the field for knowledge growth and skill-building. Travel is required. This role has a dotted line reporting structure to the VP of Facilities for consistency with Seldin standards and technical support. As a Senior Portfolio Director, this role may assist the VP of Facilities with process improvements, SOP reviews, and other tasks as requested by the VP of Facilities. Requirements

• Seven to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• EPA Certification is required
• CAMT certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year is required
• Apartment maintenance experience
• Knowledge of appliance repair, carpentry, highly skilled and specialized HVAC work, plumbing and electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of safety procedures, safety-conscious, steady, and dependable, and ability to work with the pressure of deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively, assert yourself, work well under pressure, self-motivation and self-direction, work with/without direct supervision, and the ability to develop a team and be a team leader
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Nice To Haves

• Applicable Pool Certification and CPR Certification are desirable
