Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering, cyber systems, or military programs
  • Experience leading technical development teams
  • Military vehicle development and systems integration experience
  • Interpreting customer-level requirements and flowing them down to system and subsystem levels
  • Development and management of system-level cyber requirements
  • Embedded systems engineering within cyber-physical environments
  • Cyber warfare experience (offensive and/or defensive)
  • Software and computer science fundamentals applied to embedded or mission systems
  • Familiarity with electrical LRUs and electronic hardware development and troubleshooting
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML
  • Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
  • Cyber Tabletop Exercises (CTTX)
  • Cyber-physical system security requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and integrate cross-functional cyber engineering scope across system design, schedule, cost, and performance constraints.
  • Ensure a balanced, compliant cyber architecture across the full vehicle system, coordinating with engineering and program teams.
  • Develop, manage, and enforce system-level cyber requirements and interface allocations, including Performance and SWaP-CRaM (Space, Weight, Power-Cooling, Reliability, and Maintainability).
  • Own system specifications, requirements compliance documentation, and traceability.
  • Manage system architectures, requirements changes, trade studies, and final technical resolutions.
  • Conduct and support system and subsystem trade studies addressing space, weight, power, cost, reliability, and performance impacts across cyber vehicle suites.
  • Oversee development and execution of verification and validation plans, including lab, production, and field site testing.
  • Lead and participate in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) and issue resolution for development, test, production, and modification efforts.
  • Develop, review, and approve design milestone artifacts and CDRLs, ensuring technical accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with Design IPTs on threat analysis, interface development, requirements decomposition, and compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging Cyber and C5ISR technologies for integration into GDLS platforms.
  • Support cyber-physical design best practices, tools, training, and enterprise-wide cyber security culture initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in peer and technical reviews.
