Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Cybersecurity Engineer - Senior to support this mission at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 6 years’ experience with an MS/MA or 3 years’ experience with a PhD. or 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA degree
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 462; Element: CS; Work Role: Control Systems Security Specialist; Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Nice To Haves

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a lead cybersecurity engineering expert within the PMO, driving the management of enterprise-level and site-specific projects and holding significant responsibility for the cybersecurity integrity of their associated PRDs.
  • Leads the identification and definition of robust cybersecurity requirements, architectural patterns, and systematic paths for complex system integration activities, major expansions, and critical site activations, directly influencing the security scope and requirements of PRDs, contributing to development of Approved Product Lists and Market Research Reports.
  • Architects and evaluates strategic cybersecurity solutions, providing expert technical advice to Government leadership POCs on optimizing security posture, mitigating risks, and ensuring long-term operational resilience, as captured in PRDs.
  • Develops and presents high-level technical and architectural roadmaps for C2ISR cybersecurity, influencing PMO decisions on security technology adoption, resource allocation, and program direction, and ensuring PRDs reflect these strategic choices.
  • Directs and coordinates cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity technical considerations into broader C2ISR projects, resolving complex architectural and technical security challenges, and ensuring PRD alignment and feasibility.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact cybersecurity engineering assignments, guiding junior and journeyman engineers, and contributing significantly to the strategic expansion and modernization of global C2ISR infrastructure through the PRD process, with a focus on security by design.
