As a Senior Plant Care Specialist, you must have demonstrated in your role to be dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently. Each day you will visit various customer sites and provide care for the plants by performing trained tasks such as grooming, rotating and watering. You must also possess a genuine desire to service customers by taking the best possible care of the plants in their work environment. In addition to regular service duties, the Senior Specialist will assist branch leadership with various priorities and initiatives supporting the branch's operations plans and strategies.

Requirements

  • Must possess valid drivers license from state of residence for driving roles.
  • Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders.
  • Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
  • Shows a track record of excellent Customer Retention.
  • Demonstrates proper material usage, PPE attire, and safe work history.
  • High CVC (customer voice counts) ratings.
  • Demonstrates Teamwork first mentality.
  • Minimum of 1 year in the Plant care specialist role desired.
  • Completion of CAP 2 and all U+ coaching videos.
  • Favorable rating on most recent Annual Performance review.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintenance of high quality and integrity at work environment.
  • Assisting Leadership Team to provide support and guidance to Specialists to ensure timely and quality customer service.
  • Field training of new Ambius Plant Care Specialists - assist and conduct on-the-job training with new-hires during their first 4-6 weeks and ensure completion of weekly Field Training Checklists. All training must correspond with CAP 1 approved practices and products (i.e. no home remedies, reading and following labels, wearing appropriate PPE) to ensure safe and professional work practices are adopted by new-hire.
  • Provide Peer support for new Plant Care Specialists.
  • Assist Leadership to identify and resolve client concerns/complaints.
  • Assist in the completion of open routes.
  • Assist on new installs when necessary.
  • Identify solutions for client needs to increase revenue and growth.
  • Develop solid working relationship with New Hires/Trainee’s.
  • Be available by phone to answer questions of Trainee’s.
  • Help shape expectations for Trainee as they go through different phases of training and onboarding.
  • Be aware of additional required training assigned to colleagues (i.e. eDriving course, CAP 1, Corporate Compliance and U+ Safety Training).
  • Communicate any concerns / issues to Trainee’s Manager.
  • Ability to support more than one Trainee throughout the year. For example colleague may be actively training one new colleague with weeks 1-4 and additionally involved in the weekly check-in of a colleague in weeks 5-52.
