About The Position

As a leader in the Unified Communications market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Planning Product Manager to join our team and drive the evolution of our Poly Video portfolio. Position Overview: As a Senior Planning Product Manager for Poly Video, you will lead the Discovery, Feasibility and Definition for new Unified Communications experiences. You should be obsessed with knowing the customer, their workflow and their pain points to ultimately bring customer centric innovation to the portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure product success. By collaborating with internal teams and customers, you will shape the future of communications technology.

Requirements

  • Outstanding strategic thinking, data-driven decision making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
  • Mastery of complex hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to communicate across the organization, including both technical and non-technical audiences, to convey critical information and processes in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Product development leadership experience, including demonstrated examples of management through influence as well as collaboration in a complex, multi-cultural global environment, building a culture of accountability.
  • Outstanding organizational and innovation skills.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define a forward-looking product strategy that aligns with industry trends, technology advancements and customer needs.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, value propositions and competitive differentiation.
  • Provide strategic guidance to junior product managers and the product team, fostering innovation and a culture of excellence.
  • Play a leadership role and drive the progress of the product management function.
  • Advise executive management and key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, gathering deep insights and feedback to shape product enhancements and future offerings.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and customer feedback assessments to refine product strategies and prioritize development efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop impactful go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
  • Provide thought leadership and support in customer-facing activities, industry events, and product launch initiatives.
