Find your fit — and your future. The Senior Planner will be a trusted partner to support brand/category and channel strategies. You will be an essential team member; with financial experience of the retail market to inform the retail buy plans and promote continued growth. You can identify important business issues, provide analysis on opportunities and risks, improve consistency in processes, and guide best practices across the business and within the DTC team. You will work with the merchant and allocation management partners to ensure end-to-end strategy execution and line productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
  • 5+ years of Planning experience, with some time in eCommerce or DTC businesses
  • Communicate important financial measures, and how they are used in systems/tools
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions) and open to new systems
  • Understand retail math, merchandising financials and profitability KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Merchants to develop Consumer & Category segment productivity targets (assortment architecture)
  • Present bottom-up sales and inventory plans, and reconcile against the tops-down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisions
  • Help implement in-season activities within the team including forecasts and retail sales
  • Review monthly retail forecast and reconcile against plans to determine dept OTB
  • Work with Allocation partners to ensure in-season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flow
  • Manage in-season profitability to achieve or exceed seasonal performance
  • Work with Retail Merchants, Allocation and Category Inventory Manager (CIM), partners to manage product life-cycle
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to increase line profitability—identify and monetize new opportunities and identify risks
  • Manage OTB waterfall from Demand to Net Sales, with demonstratable understanding of the puts-takes of the eCommerce business and financial flows
  • Perform analysis on seasons' financial and assortment performance to develop next seasons' inventory plans
  • Assist channel lead in setting team department goals for revenue, gross margin, inventory, and style/color productivity that meet overall assigned channel/regional financial metrics
  • Determine and recognize in season process and opportunities
  • Suggest strategies to grow sales on key categories / items
  • Take ownership of additional projects that support channel and company plans.
  • Lead projects across all DTC and work across the channel matrix with their “company hat” to ensure inventory profitability for all
  • Interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
