This position plays a critical role in connecting the dots across the global Boston Scientific supply chain. You'll collaborate with divisional, regional, and country-level planning counterparts, acting as a strategic bridge between Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Sterilization. Your primary mission: proactively manage and maintain the flow of finished goods throughout our network to drive end-to-end supply chain efficiencies, agility, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, distribution planning, or operations.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis).
  • Solid understanding of distribution center processes and transportation concepts.
  • Understanding of ISO and CGMP quality requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex data sets, developing business cases, and executing improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Distribution SI&OP process in partnership with regional distribution centers, analyzing the output to drive improvements in the quality of the plan.
  • Own the Network Change governance process by coordinating intake of network change requests, evaluating alignment with strategic goals, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating with the PMO team for resourcing.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify inefficiencies in the movement of finished goods, with a focus on optimizing direct shipping from manufacturing to distribution centers.
  • Build business cases for change supported by strong data analysis, and lead projects to improve cost, service, quality, and sustainability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on finished goods flow to drive optimization of end-to-end supply chain costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement standard work that enhances consistency and quality of outcomes.
  • Partner with the Analytics team to develop and implement KPIs that monitor network performance and effectiveness.
