About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Personnel Manager supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence. This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA. Contingent upon contract award

Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance : Top Secret
  • Education: Master's degree or higher
  • Years of Experience: At least 10 years of experience in related field

  • Years of experience: At least 12 years of demonstrated experience in related field
  • Certifications: Technical Skills
  • Initiating, supervising, and developing requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs
  • Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
  • Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Consulting with clients to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and evaluate the organization’s training and professional development program for assigned personnel
  • Notify units of all special duty and professional military education opportunity programs and aid in submission of application packages to the servicing Military Personnel Flight
  • Track Professional Military Education, Acquisition Professional Development Plan, Key Leadership Positions, Career Field Education and Training Plan, and Individual Development Plan information for the Government
  • Track and monitor the submissions of military and civilian awards and decorations, quarterly and annual awards, and special trophies
  • Monitor and track deploying personnel and deployment equipment
  • Track the organization’s military performance reports, feedback forms, military promotion forms, stratifications, and force shaping forms in accordance with regulations
