A Brief Overview The Senior People Operations Analyst advocates and implements best practice systems, processes, and programs for TriNet’s Contingent Workforce Program (MSP). This role delivers reporting that provides insight into TriNet’s contingent workforce, and works cross-functionally with TriNet business leaders to achieve business objectives. The Analyst coordinates and maintains all MSP activities, including operations, compliance, sourcing, vendor enrollment, systems, and reporting. Builds strong relationships across various external MSP vendors, and be seen as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). Additionally, this position ensures operational excellence in managing contingent labor processes, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent work and education experience required.
  • Typically 5[+] years’ experience in a shared service HR model, PEO environment, contingent workforce management, MSP programs, or vendor management.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to write detailed processes and present information for targeted audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Oracle applications, PeopleSoft, Taleo, and SAP Fieldglass or similar VMS platforms.
  • Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines: compensation, benefits, employee relations, immigration, performance management, federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and work with peers in a positive manner.
  • Strong Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Word skills; proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Strong acumen with systems, data, and reporting.
  • Professional demeanor; ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact.
  • Collaborative team player; able to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Flexible to accommodate business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Human Resources certification (PHR) or equivalent preferred.
  • Preferred: CCWP or CCHS certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on TriNet’s contingent workforce, including headcount, spend, new additions, and departures.
  • Develop dashboards and metrics to track program performance and compliance.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with TriNet Procurement to review and verify Statements of Work (SOW) for accuracy and completeness; ensure SOWs align with contractual obligations and MSP program standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contingent workforce vendors to support resource needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Learn and utilize SAP Fieldglass for contingent workforce management, including onboarding, offboarding, and assignment tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and accurate data integration between Fieldglass and Oracle systems.
  • Support compliance with CCWP and CCHS standards, including worker classification, tenure tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Act as a primary day-to-day point of contact for Randstad PMO teams (India and USA) regarding TriNet’s contingent workforce inquiries.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on MSP processes, policies, and system usage.
  • Assist in resolving escalations and ensuring a positive experience for contingent workers and hiring managers.
  • Evaluate existing workflow, processes, procedures, and programs; perform best practice benchmark gap analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to document processes and work instructions.
  • Facilitate training to ensure employees understand how to perform processes with accuracy.
  • Scope projects with short-term vs. long-term corporate goals, customer impact, resource requirements, and cross-functional involvement.
  • Provide prompt service to internal colleagues.
  • Provide training and support to peers in designated functional areas.
  • Serve as escalation and subject matter expert for TriNet’s MSP Contingent program
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company-specific policies, practices, benefits programs, and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Randstad to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
