Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent desired
  • PCB design skills including RF and mixed signal/material/technology
  • PCB fabrication process knowledge
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards
  • Requires strong organizational skills, technical curiosity, and desire to work in fasted paced team environment.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidate will be proficient with Allegro, PADS experience a plus.
  • ADEF is moving to Allegro in the next several months as the primary CAD tool.
  • Knowledge of JIRA agile management system is a plus

Responsibilities

  • PCB layout and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes and how to address problems as they arise with FAB and assembly houses.
  • Work with a wide variety of engineering disciplines to layout complex hi frequency PCB.
  • Conduct peer and design reviews for PCB designs completed within the group as a participant.
  • Participate in a ticket system for assigning jobs and reporting job status to the engineering community.
  • Design dense and complex PCBs with a wide variety of component types, emphasis on RF signal requirements, and board fabrication technologies.
