This position is responsible for ensuring all Cast/Employees are paid accurately and timely each pay period. This position works closely with business units, HRPBs, 3rd party vendors, Fidelity, Enterprise Benefits, and Cast/Employees to resolve pay, deductions, and banking challenges. This position will be responsible for understanding and processing quotas, separations, banking, deductions, leaves of absence, garnishments, and adjustments. The position will also be tasked with finding and implementing process improvements to gain efficiency within the Operations team.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Payroll processes
  • Understanding of Alteryx workflows
  • Ability to identify process improvements
  • Strong understanding of payroll rules
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new programs, applications, processes and provide process improvement ideas
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle high volume of work in a deadline driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll changes, run payroll reports, process adjustments, run off-cycles, handle banking and deduction processes, check controller, and help out with garnishments and quotas
  • Business Unit Collaboration – Partner with Disney departments to administer business unit-specific deductions
  • Employee Support – Provide customer service to Cast Members on banking, deduction, and medical arears inquiries escalated from GHRO
  • Process Improvement – Develop and maintain process improvements that streamline operations, reduce manual entry for various areas of the Operations team
  • Financial Institution Partnerships – Serve as the liaison with Wells Fargo, Citibank, Partners, ABE Federal Credit Union and Onbe to resolve pay delivery issues, escheatment, fraud matters, and uploads for direct deposits and pay cards
