About The Position

The Senior PAAS Attendant, reporting to the Operations Coordinator, welcomes and assists patrons, enforces theatre policy, and assists the PAAS supervisor at the Hollywood Bowl and The Ford. Starting pay commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with patrons and staff
  • Maintain the discipline and morale of the staff
  • Existing knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the following:
  • Layout of theater and grounds
  • Event times and program information
  • Ticket information
  • Proper use of 2-way radios
  • Ability to:
  • Work outside
  • Bend, stand and walk (including hilly terrain and stairs) for up to duration of entire work shift
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Sit for up to a couple of hours at a time during work shift
  • Delegate duties as needed
  • For Cart Operators:
  • Current Driver’s License
  • 2-3 years of driving experience
  • Proper training of cart operation

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor with daily tasks.
  • Operate the Operations Command Post
  • Utilize 24/7 software in Command Post
  • Answer questions from employees and patrons
  • Control pathways for wheelchairs and medicals
  • Operate 2-way radios
  • Respond to staff radio calls
  • Keep accurate time records
  • Assist in training and scheduling employees to take appropriate meal and rest breaks
  • Record accurate nightly incident reports
  • Review Field Interview Reports
  • Enforce theatre policies
  • Assist in training employees on Hollywood Bowl & Ford Theatre policies and procedures
  • Supervise emergency medical transport at direction of medical personnel
  • Always wear personal protective equipment during medical transport; may encounter bio fluids during the process
  • Assist in the operation of both venues
  • Assist other departments when necessary and as directed by a supervisor
  • Respond to a wide range of customer service issues with sensitivity and care
  • Respond to patron complaints
  • General duties as assigned
