The Senior Patient Services Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service. Serves in both the front office performing administrative tasks, as well, in the back-office escorting patients to the exam room and safely conducting routine rooming tasks. Requirements

• AHA BLS Upon hire
• 1 year Customer service experience, or successful completion of Providence internship.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Completed rooming training

Nice To Haves

• Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems.
• Medical office or health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets incoming patients
• Obtains initial vital signs (Height, Weight, BP, Pulse, Respirations) and in accordance with predefined metrics.
• Documents pertinent patient care information.
• Prepares rooms for new patients.
• Stocks room supplies and carts.
• Utilizes and maintains supplies to minimize waste.
