About The Position

Blend is looking for an experienced paid search expert to work along side our director of paid search helping grow revenue for our tour, activity, and attraction clients in markets such as Chicago; Wisconsin Dells; Banff National Park, Charleston, SC, and more. These small to midsize companies ($2-$30M annual revenue) rely on Blend to increase demand and bookings for their experiences. Your role will be focused on management and execution in paid search ad accounts inside of the broader integrated marketing strategy. The majority of your time will be spent working on Google Ad campaigns. You’ll also have opportunities to work on Bing Ads and possibly other channels depending on your experience. Your role will include implementation, optimization, and monitoring of campaigns, ensuring KPI’s are being met, and providing performance reports and strategic paid search planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, primarily on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads within a B2C environment.
  • Deep understanding of budgeting, campaign structure, audience strategy, bidding methodologies, and testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
  • Good organizational skills. We use ClickUp for project management.
  • Ability to join client calls when required.
  • Must be based in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using and finding data inside of Google Analytics 4
  • Experience working with paid social advertising experts
  • Working knowledge of complementary channels including organic social, paid social, and SEO, and how they integrate with paid social strategies.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to automate or streamline repetitive workflows.
  • Experience managing paid search campaigns for tours, activities, or attractions.

Responsibilities

  • Help our clients be discovered, so they can reach their business goals.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign trafficking, pacing, and optimization, ensuring best-practice account structure and performance efficiency.
  • Identify new opportunities to help clients accomplish their goals and drive incremental revenue.
  • Audit existing search ad accounts and identity opportunities.
  • Manage ad spend, campaign objectives, targeting, and campaign timelines.
  • Report on current status of accounts, successes, and key learnings.
  • Organize hypotheses and recommendations, and be comfortable sharing with internal team members and clients.

Benefits

  • Competitive Hourly Compensation: $50-$90/hr depending on experience. Target hours will range between 10 and 20 per week.
  • Fully Remote, Hybrid, or In Person: You have the option to work out of our Madison, WI office as much or as little as you like. About half our team is based in the Madison area. The rest of the team is scattered throughout the US.
